Public Speaking Competition

This term ours students have been working hard to develop their public speaking skills, presenting speeches of a great standard at both the class, stage and school levels. We had 8 students selected to advance to the local Public Speaking Finals. Congratulations to Charli (Stage 1) and Noah (Stage 3) for winning their stage finals and advancing to the Central Coast Finals next term. Their confidence, preparation, and eloquence truly shone through. Well done to all our participants for showcasing such impressive communication skills and representing our school with pride!

Public Education Week

In Term 3, we celebrate the incredible impact of public education in shaping our communities and futures. Since 1928, Lisarow Public School has been dedicated to providing quality education, fostering a love for learning, and empowering our students to reach their full potential. That’s 97 years of experience serving the community!

Highlights from the week included the Cooinda AECG Awards night, School Public Speaking Finals, picnic recess with family and friends, open classroom sessions showing off the hard work of our students and teachers and a special Education Week assembly to celebrate us all.

Zone Cross Country Carnival

At Lisarow, we are incredibly proud of our amazing student team who participated in the Brisbane Water PSSA Cross Country Carnival. Our 43 dedicated athletes showed outstanding resilience, determination, and team spirit, pushing themselves to their personal bests on a challenging course. Despite being a small school, we achieved an impressive 2nd place overall and claimed 1st place in our zone’s adjusted point score, bringing home a trophy proudly displayed in our front office. Congratulations to the 10 students who qualified for Sydney North, with several earning podium finishes—truly a remarkable achievement for our Lisarow community!
