About our school

Lisarow Public School is situated on the Central Coast and is set in pleasant, rural surrounds bounded by a creek and bushland. The school caters for 210 students in nine classes K-6.

The school has held a prominent place in the local community since it opened in 1928. It offers a friendly and stimulating environment with all rooms well-equipped and air conditioned. Each class has access to the DET network via class computers plus a bank of thirty computers in the Bailey Cottage technology room. All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard and access to notebooks and tablets.

The teaching staff are highly qualified and committed to providing quality educational opportunities for all students. Parents and the school have developed strong and effective partnerships and work together to enhance the many quality programs available. Student welfare, performing and creative arts, environmental education, sport and physical education are all areas that are catered for through a variety of programs.

Our school facilities have recently been updated through the building of a new library and a three classroom block. These new buildings have greatly improved the facilities of the school.

The school is a proud member of the Valley Schools' Learning Community.
