Lisarow Public School has an active Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) that contributes significantly to the life of the school and the many opportunities that are offered to students.
Parents and citizens overview
The P&C consists of parents and carers, who meet to discuss and plan, along with the Principal, how the P&C can help the school provide the best opportunities for our children, now and in the future.
The P&C operates the uniform shop.
Opening Times:
Tuesdays 2:30pm - 3:15pm
Fridays 8:30am - 9:15am
Parents and citizens meetings
Lisarow Public School P&C meets at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month during term time in the school staffroom. The Annual General Meeting is held at the November meeting each year. There is no December meeting.
The meetings provide an opportunity for parents to voice their opinions, discuss decisions and cast votes on motions put forward. The meetings include a report from the Principal, whom attends the meetings.
Membership fees must be paid at one meeting, so the individual has full membership and voting rights at the following meeting. They cannot vote during the meeting at which their membership has been paid. Membership is $1.00 yearly.
